Daisy Muñoz
Project Manager
Daisy Muñoz is a first-generation college graduate who grew up in south Oklahoma City. She received her B.A. in English Writing and a Master’s degree in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on community and economic development.
She is the Project Manager for the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City where her focus will be planning and partnerships focusing on south Oklahoma City. In her previous role as Capital Access Manager for Progress OKC, she organized and connected minority-owned small businesses to resources to strengthen their venture through programs that offered a business accelerator, technical assistance grants, and a low-barrier microloan. Her fluent Spanish allowed her to help many Hispanic businesses, one of the goals of the program.
Daisy is very active in the community serving on many boards. She is the Ward 6 Representative for the MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Committee, the Treasurer for Dream Action Oklahoma, and the co-chair of the Art committee in Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill. Her goal is to strengthen the relationship between people and planning agencies in Oklahoma City.
